Tahlka News Desk Lucknow: Another twist has came in Samajwadi Party after expulsion of UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and cousin Ram Gopal Yadav by SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on friday late night, but laterly both has been taken back in the party today. This has been announced after up cm met with sp chief Mulayam Singh Yadav at the party chief's residence. Shivpal today said that Ram Gopal has cancelled an emergency party meeting he'd called earlier this week, and that Akhilesh and Mulayam would sit together to make a list of candidates for the upcoming polls in Uttar Pradesh. "We will contest the elections together," Shivpal said. Yesterday, Mulayam Singh Yadav expelled his son Akhilesh and cousin Ram Gopal from the party for six years. Mulayam said he'd taken the decision was taken after Ram Gopal, in his capacity as general secretary, called an emergency meeting of the party on January 1 and Akhilesh "supported" it. In addition, while Mulayam had released list an official list of candidates for the Assembly elections, Akhilesh announced a parallel list.
Sources says that, in the meeting with Mulayam Singh, Azam Khan had asked for the revocation of Akhilesh Yadav's expulsion. Whereas, Akhilesh Yadav camp also wants Amar Singh out of Samajwadi Party according to the sources. Mulayam accused Ram Gopal of "trying to destroy" Akhilesh's future, and of trying to weaken the party ahead of the upcoming polls. The SP supremo also said the party would name a new CM. But now, it seems, none of that matters.
