Tahlka news Bureau, Lucknow:�Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday directed the officials to start the state-wide Dial 100 project from October 2, this year. The chief minister said that he himself would launch the service in Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Jhansi and Ghaziabad. Akhilesh�said Dial 100 should be developed as the fastest, biggest, cheapest, effective and best service. He said this at a meeting to review the progress made in the project. Akhilesh�said that he will attend the launch of the project in Varanasi, Agra, Ghaziabad, Jhansi and Lucknow, release quoted him saying, adding instructions have been given to impart special training to police personnel involved with the project.
