LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday released a joint list of ten commitments to the people of Uttar Pradesh on which they will work on coming to power.
In a joint press conference in Lucknow , the two leaders released the 10 commitments to people of Uttar Pradesh , which includes employment guarantee through skill development to 20 lakh youths , smart phones , free cycles to girl students of class IX to XII and mertoritious students and free homes for dalit and backward families , four lane roads connecting all districts metro in six main cities.
The ten point commitment included some of the promises made by Rahul Gandhi during his state-wide Kisan Yatra , such as loan to waiver farmers and reduction of power tariff for them – a long time demand of Congress . Law and order , and development issues will also be served in the CMP.
"Two families have entered into alliance … I will say that two youths have come together it is the alliance of Congress and SP… , "" He said in response to a Jibe at Prime Mininister Narendera Modi's comment in this regard.
' At least Samajwadi people practically give shape to what they say but some others only do 'mann ki baat' but 'kaam ki baat nhi karte'… they do not say in rallies and in districts what are the achievements of there government, " Akhilesh said.
"There are ten step development worked out by two parties on which Congress and SP will work on coming to power in future," Akhilesh added
