Kerala: BJP president Amit Shah reaches Kochi. Shah is on a three-day visit to the state to discuss with his party rank and file on ways to expand BJP's political presence and vote base in the state. Shah's visit come at a time when the state has shot into limelight after Kannur Youth Congress activists publically slaughter a calf.
Sources says that, he will hold a meeting with the Kerala BJP core group there, followed by discussions with NDA partners Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) and the Janadhipathya Rashtriya Sabha (JRS). Various organizational units of BJP will also meet Shah to discuss the challenges faced by the party in the state.
He will be in Thiruvanthapuram on Saturday and Sunday and will hold a press conference there. Shah will also visit a slum in Rajajinagar area of the capital city and meet booth level workers and residents.
