Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was detained and chairman of moderate Hurriyat faction
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq have been put under house arrest today ahead of a meeting of the separatist leaders of Jammu and Kashmir.
The separatist leader proposed for a meeting followed by Maisuma police station in Srinagar.
Yasin Malik was arrested from his residence and lodged at Maisuman police station in Srinagar.
The separatist leader had planned a meeting at the house of Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani at Hyderpora.
Several separatist leasers are rattled in the raids conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
