New Delhi: National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted a major raid after interrogation with secessionists' leaders about terror funding in Kashmir. NIA has raided 14 places of secessionists in Kashmir an 8 places in Delhi. NIA has registered a FIR on this issue. Till now during the raid a sum of Rs. 1.15 crore has been recovered from Delhi and Srinagar.
In the raid, militants like LeT and Hizbul Mujahedeen found the letterhead of the organization. Apart, from this, pen-drives, laptops, and other important documents have also been seized.
NIA has raided the Hurriat leaders, including Nayeem Khan, Bitta Karate, and Jawed Ghazi Baba. These leaders were questioned by the NIA. Now he Initial Investigation Report has been converted into FIR. NIA team is conducting raids in seven places, including Delhi's Chandni Chowk, Billimaran, in connection with hawala case and funding to terrorists. Apart from this, raids are also going on in 14 places of Jammu and Kashmir. On secessionist's leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, NIA has strengthened its hold. NIA has also registered FIR on him.
NIA has also filed An FIR against terrorist Hafiz Saeed, Hurriya leaders and Dukhtaran-e-Millat. According to investigation agencies, the money is being transported from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and then to the hawala operator of Delhi via the hawala operator of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka. After this the money is being provided to the secessionists in Kashmir with the help of some traders form Delhi and Haryana. NIA has identified these traders. There may be several arrests in the case of Pakistan Funding soon.
