�New Delhi:�The NIA�on Friday arrested Abdul Wahid Siddibapa, member of terror outfit Indian Mujahideen, from the IGI airport in Delhi after he was deported from Dubai, officials confirmed.
Abdul Wahid Siddibapa, son of Siddibapa Mohaddin, is a resident of Maqdoom Colony in Bhatkal, Karnataka.
�He was wanted in a case pertaining to conspiracy by Indian Mujahideen to attack various places in India. He was based in Dubai and had been involved in recruitment for IM and also funded their activities from Dubai,� said an NIA official.
He was based in Dubai and was allegedly recruiting people for IM to carry out terror activities in India. He has allegedly funded the outfit's activities from there, they said.
A warrant of arrest and a Red Corner Notice had been issued against him on the basis of which he was arrested.
