Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Ravinra Gaikwad, famous for assaulting an Air India staffer 25 times with a slipper, have now come up with a new situation here. He have found a doppelganger to deal with people seeking to take selfies with him. The parliamentarian from Osmanabad will now be seen travelling with his look alike and party worker Ratnakar Sagar.
Sagar wears the trademark Kurta pyjama, the MP stays discreet with casual attire. Gaikwad told an English daily in Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus that he tells selfie-seekers, ticket collectors, that he is the MP's aide and directs them to pose with Sagar. Even though airlines have revoked the flying ban on him, Daikwad said he has opted to travel by train so far.
"My last two journeys with the Rajdhani Express, from Mumbai to Delhi, were comfortable. Iam in no hurry to catch a flight," Gaikwad said.
As per the report, a few people who saw Gaikwad approached
him, following which he directed them to Sagar. "That's my boss Ravusaheb
Gaikwad," the real one said, introduced himself as "saheb's secretary". The doppelganger
obliged all selfie-seekers with folded hands.
