UP polls 2017: BSP declares Barkat Ali as Agra south candidate

Agra: �Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls 2017, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is through with declaration of candidates for all nine assembly constituencies of the district.

Initially, Barkat Ali was declared Agra south candidate during a show of strength, that the party organised at GIC ground, in presence of with party leaders.

It may be mentioned here that Agra remains a stronghold of the BSP as it won six out of nine assembly seats in the 2012 elections despite Samajwadi Party gaining a clear majority in the state.

The party is also ahead in preparations for state assembly elections and has now declared candidates for all nine seats in Agra district.

Addressing the gathering, party MLA and zonal coordinator for Agra and Aligarh, Sunil Kumar Chittor reminded people about Dr BR Ambedkar�s contribution to society, particularly in the uplift of dalits.

Chittor also took a dif at the state government and alleged that there is no water, electricity or jobs.
