Tahlka news Bureau, Ludhiana: Hockey Player�Sardar Singh �has been given a clean chit by the police in connection with the allegations of sexual exploitation levelled against him by a UK-based woman in February. Commissioner �Jatinder Singh Aulakh, said the special investigation team �in its report said that no evidence to corroborate the allegations against Sardar Singh could be found. The report said the woman failed to produce evidence to establish her stay with Sardar at Bhaini Sahib. Former under-19 hockey player Ashap Kaur Bhogal, an Indian-origin British woman �had accused Sardar Singh of sexual assault. In February, she accused the veteran midfielder of "mentally, physically and emotionally torturing" her. The 21-year-old had claimed that Sardar Singh, whom she met during the 2012 Olympics and has been engaged to him for four years, forced her to abort their child in 2015.
